“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Luke 12:34
The first part of Luke 12 teaches us that we shouldn’t worry so much about what we wear, what we eat, how much money we have, and so on. God will help to provide us with these things if we seek His kingdom.
Of course, we still need to work and be productive to take care of ourselves, but maybe we spend a little too much of our focus on those things. Jesus encourages us to focus on heavenly things.
Jesus says, “Your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.”
Our Heavenly Father is thinking of us. His heart is with us.
We are His treasure.
