If I were in the older son’s position, I guess I might feel a bit of jealousy, too.

When our hearts are changed, we’ll no longer have a desire to sin. We’ll still make mistakes, but the posture of our hearts is most important.

Our Heavenly Father is thinking of us. His heart is with us. We are His treasure.

This past week I learned we learned about belief and faith, forgiveness, and the importance of following Jesus Christ.

How can I learn to know the voice of the Good Shepherd better?

If everything was always good, I’d be likely not to appreciate or even notice how good things actually were.

We might throw out hateful or cruel words in a moment of frustration or anger. But what if we could be stone catchers instead of stone throwers?

Maybe it’s just my perspective, but it feels like there’s a division among people even now because of Christ.

One thing I’ve learned from scripture study is that it’s often those who have been forgiven of the greatest sins who have the greatest faith and become the most faithful followers of Christ.

I couldn’t decide which to focus on. There are just so many good lessons in Matthew 18. 1️⃣ Jesus calls a little child to Him

I think that noticing the little miracles and seeing the hand of God in our lives each day helps our faith to grow.

Join us as we read the Gospels in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible. We’re studying to learn more about Christ before Christmas.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoseover shall lose his life for my sake and for the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

Not only can He help people hear physically, but He can also help us to hear and understand spiritually.

Even though the other mustard seeds didn’t grow so tall and wide, some grew 2 to 5 times as tall as usual. The potential is there.

As Son of the Living God, He only could complete this mission. He fills me with peace, hope, and love.

Things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart.

Jesus would sacrifice His body, His life (symbolized by bread) that the world might be saved.

In this chapter, Jesus gives a beautiful testimony of and a description of His relationship with the Father.
