From today’s Bible reading: Matthew 12
It was difficult to find something uplifting and inspiring in this chapter.
Most of it talks about Jesus rebuking the Pharisees for worrying so much about the law that they’ve forgotten the God the law was supposed to point them to.
We often quote Jesus’s comforting and loving words.
But here He chastises and warns.
I guess they are still loving words, really. 💕
They may seem harsh, but if taken to heart, they can lead to repentance and redemption through a loving Savior.
