From today’s Bible reading: Mark 2
I think this verse can teach a couple of different lessons. (Mark 2:17)
➡️ First, Jesus came for the sinners. He makes repentance possible. We don’t have to reach a certain level of righteousness before coming to Him. Faith in Him is the very first step to becoming clean again.
➡️ Second, everyone is a sinner. If we think we are fully righteous and don’t need Jesus, surely we are committing the sin of pride.
Jesus came for all of us, to lovingly call all of us to repentance. ♥️
He is our Physician, our Healer.🩺
