I’m grateful for Jesus Christ. ❤️ He is the Light of the World.
As I celebrate Christmas this year, I am so grateful for this time I’ve spent learning about Jesus from the Bible. I feel more connected to the Christchild who was born in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago than I’ve felt before.
I’m so grateful for His life of love, service, and dedication to His Father’s will.
I’m grateful for His teachings that show us how to live better, more fulfilled lives even in the midst of tragedy and struggle. I know that His example will lead us to live with Him again if we strive to follow Him.
I’m grateful for His mission to redeem all mankind. His mercy offers us the beautiful gift of reconciliation with God in spite of our weaknesses and failings. Jesus Christ’s sacrifice allows God to be perfectly just, and perfectly merciful. All those who will follow Him will be redeemed.
As the hymn says, “Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled.”
He is the Light of the World.
He offers us peace, comfort, hope, and enduring joy.
Hark! The herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King!
