I always thought that a mustard seed grew into a big tall tree. 🌳
Jesus says in Matthew 13,“The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.”
I guess that’s not usually the case.
Usually mustard seeds grow to be plants that are just about 3-6 feet tall.🌾
That’s still a great feat for a seed so small.
But under the right conditions, some mustard seeds grow to be huge bushes 10-15 feet tall, and just as wide.
I think those are the seeds Jesus spoke of.
Even though the other mustard seeds didn’t grow so tall and wide, some grew 2 to 5 times as tall as usual.
The potential is there.
With faith like that, we can move the mountains in our lives. 🏔
Our potential is often much more than we realize. 🥰
“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20
