Jesus warned his disciples that following Him would not be easy.
He told them they would be hated, beaten, arrested, and even put to death.
While our circumstances hopefully are not that extreme, this chapter reminds us that following Christ doesn’t make life easy.
Jesus gives his disciples a promise:
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mark 13:13)
We have hope in eternity because of Jesus Christ.
Eventually, all will be made right.
Until then, put on the armor of God and stand your ground against Satan as you fight your daily battles.
Jesus will give you strength and courage.

“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” (Mark 13:26)
