Mark doesn’t go into as many details about Jesus Christ’s resurrection as Luke and John.
One thing He does emphasize is Jesus’s call to the disciples to preach the gospel to every creature.
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.” (Mark 16:16)
I feel like sharing the gospel is something that I have never really been great at, but this 90-day challenge has helped me to feel like I’ve shared with at least a few people who may have been touched by the words of Jesus.
I think that’s going to be my goal in the new year, though.
I’m going to work on talking more about Christ and sharing His gospel.
I was thinking about the parable of the talents the other day, and realizing that God has given me the gospel to share and if I bury it instead of bringing people to Christ, then I’ve been a slothful servant.
So if you’re reading this, I’d like you to know that I have a testimony of Jesus Christ.
I believe He is the Son of God.
I believe that if we have faith in Him and in His ability to redeem us from our sins through His great atonement and have a desire to follow Him that He can make us clean.
Through Him, we can have eternal life with Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.
Through baptism, we become His, and as we daily remember Him and keep His commandments, we are blessed.
