Jesus was arrested and brought before Annas and Caiaphas before being brought before Pilate. Pilate seemed to not be sure why they had brought Jesus before him and why the high priests wanted to put Jesus to death.
He asked Jesus, “Art thou king of the Jews?”
Jesus told him “My kingdom is not of this world.”
Pilate asked, “Art thou a king then?”
Jesus answered, “Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world.”
Jesus is the King of Kings.
Revelation 17:14: “They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
