After Jesus cleanses the temple and curses a fig tree, He reminds His disciples to forgive.
“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
I thought it was interesting.
I bet His disciples needed the reminder. They had watched as Jesus seemed to react in anger at these things. Jesus was surely upset with the irreverence at the temple. He can not tolerate sin. But He is willing to forgive any who repent.
