Jesus’s disciples assumed that because a man was born blind, it must be punishment for a sin. Jesus told them that it wasn’t because of sin, but it was an opportunity for God’s works to be made manifest.

But if everything was always good, I’d be likely not to appreciate or even notice how good things actually are in the moment.

Adversity gives me room to grow. My relationship with my Savior is more dear to me when I feel saved.

My struggles give me opportunities to rely on God and let Him manifest His works in my life.
