An Honest Answer | Mark 9

Mark 9
I think that noticing the little miracles and seeing the hand of God in our lives each day helps our faith to grow.

A man brought his son to Jesus, hoping that the boy could be healed.

Jesus said “if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

The man’s answer was different from the answers of others in the Bible:

“Lord I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

The man wanted to believe.

He hoped to believe.

But I think he didn’t feel like he was quite there yet.

His testimony was still new, just a seed freshly planted.

I know I’ve felt this way in my life at times.

I wanted to believe, but I wasn’t sure if I was there yet.

That desire to believe was like planting a seed.

As I’ve nourished the seed throughout my life, it’s grown into faith. 🌱

Jesus healed the boy.

I imagine the boy’s father felt his faith sprout and grow that day. 🌿

The miracle the father saw that day was undeniable.

I think that noticing the little miracles and seeing the hand of God in our lives each day helps our faith to grow.

Watch for those little miracles today with hope to believe.
