From this week’s Bible reading: Mark 6
When Jesus was in His hometown, many didn’t think of Him as the Son of God. They only thought of Him as the son of Mary and Joseph. They were offended because they’d heard of the miracles Jesus had done, and they didn’t think it was possible.
Because of their unbelief, Jesus wasn’t able to do the mighty works He’d done in other places.
For God to do mighty works in our lives, we must believe.
Occasionally, God will do mighty works in our lives because of the belief of others, but our ability to choose is critical to God’s plan, so He won’t force His will upon us.
We must choose Him in order for Him to do miracles in our lives.
How many times in the Bible did Jesus say things like, “Your faith hath made thee whole,” or “According to your faith be it unto you,” or “Thy faith hath saved thee?”
Faith starts with a desire to believe. 💕
