Some blessings are dependent on our asking for them. 🙏
From today’s Bible reading: Matthew 7
Jesus teaches that we can ask our Heavenly Father for blessings. We can also ask Him our questions. He will answer with good gifts.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
Of course, God knows what we need before we ask. He teaches us to rely on Him by waiting for us to ask Him for certain blessings. He is good and will provide what we need.
Sometimes what we think we need isn’t what we actually need, so it is important to remember to trust God’s will.
