Welcome to week two of our 90-day Bible Challenge. If you’re just finding this, it’s not too late to jump in!
➡️ Today, I decided to share why and how this Bible Challenge was created.
I have been feeling for some time now that I should share something uplifting and hopeful on social media. Whenever I pray about what God would have me do, this would always come to my mind.
I’m not someone who EVER posts on social media. I have a personal Instagram account that I’ve had for probably 10 years, and I’ve posted 12 posts in all those years. I’m a fairly private person, and while I enjoy browsing social media, I’m a lurker and not an influencer.
So I’ve been avoiding this for a long time now. But recently as I prayed I said, “if this is something you want me to do, please help me to know what I should post.” The thought quickly came to me, “Host a Bible 90-day Challenge”.
I thought, “Well, I guess we could read the Gospels. That’s not too long, right? “How many chapters are in the Gospels?” I looked it up: 89 chapters.
“Well that’s perfect, we’ll just do a chapter a day.”
“What if we do it by Christmas, how many days until Christmas?” At that time, there were 97 days until Christmas.
“Well, that only gives me a week to get this together!” 😂😬
So here I am, hosting a 90-Day Bible Challenge and hoping to share just a little bit of light with the world as we learn about Jesus Christ.
I’m a web designer by trade, so I put together a quick little website to host a reading calendar at 90daybiblechallenge.com
I’m not sure who this is meant to help.
Maybe it’s just me. 🥰
Maybe it’s you. 🤗
If it’s you, I hope your heart finds what God wants you to know.❤️
